About Budapest Property Rentals
We are a small, owner-run letting business with privately owned apartments in central Budapest. We let them on flexible contracts from one month, with every bill included in the rent and no agency fee.
Who we are
Budapest Property Rentals is run by its owner, Gordon, with a small team at our office on Lőrinc pap tér in the 8th District. Being small means the owner is closely involved, and you deal with people who know every apartment personally.
Our tenants include university students and people in Budapest on work contracts, many of them arranging their stay from abroad. Some have rented with us for years.

How renting with us works

Tell us what you need
Send your move-in date, how long you need the apartment, the number of people and your price range. Prices on some apartments are negotiable, so the more we know, the better.

Choose your apartment
We suggest apartments that fit and answer your questions about the building, the area and the contract.

Sign and pay the deposit
The deposit is one to three months’ rent, depending on the contract. There is no agency fee.

Move in
From then on, one monthly payment covers your rent and utilities, including gas and electricity up to €60 a month.

Flexible contracts
Rent for as many or as few months as you need: a single month, one university semester, or five months to match a work contract. You don’t have to commit to a full year.
Help with visas for non-EU tenants
If your university or employer needs a copy of a residency document and your rental contract, we supply them free of charge.
For a small additional fee we can also help process your whole visa application. Just tell us when you book and we’ll be in touch.
